Institution assesses US Non-farm Payrolls (NFP): Bets on The Federal Reserve (FED) rate cuts may have further room for reduction.
On May 2, analyst Cameron Crise said that the combination of data in the non-farm payrolls report gave traders a reason to lower their expectations for the Fed's easing. That said, as they still price in expecting the Fed to cut rates more than twice this year, there is room for bets on Fed rate cuts to taper further if "hard data" such as NFP continue to challenge the recent signals of economic weakness from "soft data".
