Abstract generation in progress

Financial infrastructure company Zebec Network has acquired Gatenox, a compliance and identity platform, to integrate regulatory tools such as KYC, KYB, and AML into its Web3 payment system. Neal Padhye, head of mergers and acquisitions at Zebec, said regulation has become essential infrastructure, making the company faster and safer.

Zebec intends to use Gatenox's technology to pursue registration under the European Union's (MiCA) Crypto Asset Markets Regulation and the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) by the end of 2025. Gatenox is not currently registered with any financial authority, but their team has experience at major financial institutions. The deal also helps Zebec reduce its dependence on third parties for regulatory compliance.
