Intelligence indicates that Iranian officials believe the destructive power of a U.S. attack on Iran's nuclear program is not as significant as expected.

Jin10 reported on June 30 that four individuals familiar with U.S. government internal confidential intelligence stated that the U.S. intercepted communications between senior Iranian officials, discussing this month’s U.S. military strikes on Iran's nuclear program. Iranian officials indicated that the damage from the attack was not as severe as they had anticipated. Sources revealed that this conversation was originally private, and Iranian government officials were speculating why the U.S. strikes were not as destructive and widespread as they had expected.
