On May 18, according to Crowdfundinsider, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv ruled yesterday to transfer the cryptocurrency assets seized in a major fraud and illegal gambling case to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA). The cryptocurrency assets involved exceed 500 million Ukrainian Hryvnia, approximately 13.5 million USD, including BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, and USDT. The defendants lured users to deposit funds through unlicensed gambling platforms and fraudulent investment websites, using manipulated algorithms to siphon off 70% of users' funds. The court ruling requires CEX to assist in the transfer of the assets involved and to cooperate with Ukrainian authorities. ARMA will dispose of the assets through electronic auctions, with the proceeds going into the national budget.
