According to a report by QCP Capital, since the end of January, the price of Bitcoin has received a strong boost following the news of the purchase of 1004 BTC by the Japanese public company Metaplanet — a local equivalent of MicroStrategy. Analysts also point to the increasing volatility, which may intensify against the backdrop of declining investor interest in risky assets.
