Kyoto Day 3

I snagged tickets to the Nintendo Museum a week in advance. The museum isn't very big, but it's quite exquisite. I took a quick tour of the exhibition area in 20 minutes. The gaming area is pretty good; each person only gets 10 coins. The two-player games are highly recommended, followed by baseball and shooting games.

After lunch, I went to Nara, and there were twice as many people compared to February. The deer crackers are still 200 yen per serving, and many deer have grown antlers, so be careful not to get bumped into. The sign for Todai-ji reads "Da Huayan Si," which is the same as in Datong; online it says that the names of both temples originate from the "Avatamsaka Sutra."

The transportation in Kyoto city is still a combination of subway and taxi. Before coming, I got 10 coupons worth 500 each for Didi. Taking a taxi for short distances is not expensive, and it's unnecessary for three people to switch to the subway.
