ETHGlobal Cannes 2025 Hackathon Reveals Top Ten Finalists

At the ETHGlobal 2025 hackathon held in Cannes, France, after intense competition, 10 projects stood out from 334 entries. These shortlisted projects cover various popular fields such as artificial intelligence, decentralized finance, and non-fungible tokens. Below is a brief introduction to these innovative projects:

1. BeamPay

BeamPay is a wallet payment system based on the EIP-7702 protocol. It can complete ERC20 token payments containing metadata in a single transaction and supports multi-chain deployment. The project was jointly developed by MemExpo and Dmitry.

2. OnlyDanks

OnlyDanks is an end-to-end encrypted communication system built entirely on the Ethereum network. It utilizes blockchain technology to achieve true decentralized private communication without relying on applications, servers, or any intermediaries. The project was co-developed by Paul, Patrick, and Fabbaist.

3. PolyBet

PolyBet is an intelligent routing protocol that combines artificial intelligence and privacy protection technology. This protocol is capable of integrating various prediction markets, unifying liquidity pools, and optimizing betting strategies to achieve maximum returns. This project was completed by JulioMCruz, DZX, Gevin Gelpes, Windsor, and adoll.

4. Livestakes

Livestakes created a parallel betting pool system for the hackathon event. This not only increases the potential earnings for participants but also allows fans to profit by supporting multiple winning tracks. The project is jointly created by babushka.bambi, João Santos, and ziz.

5. Pace Club

Pace Club is a privacy-first running app designed specifically for women’s communities. It transforms daily "let's run together" invitations into actual offline running events, equipped with a reward mechanism and trust system. This innovative project was jointly developed by Claudia and Vanes.

6. POAPrivacy

POAPrivacy allows users to mint Proof of Attendance Protocol (POAP) to privacy addresses. This method proves that users participated in an event without disclosing personal identity or specific location information. The project was jointly developed by Albina, Gedas, 0xSkas, and Carol.

7. PrivyCycle

PrivyCycle is a secure AI menstrual tracking tool. It offers encrypted records and private sharing features, allowing users to have complete control over their health data privacy. This project was developed by Danisharora and Miglė.

8. ChromaMind

ChromaMind guides users into a focused or meditative state through personalized audio-visual experiences. Each healing experience is transformed into an NFT collectible, creating a unique sensory art gallery for users. The project is co-developed by Alberto Zurini, Kostadin Slavov, Warren Chen, and 0xShazam.

9. PrivacyLinks

PrivacyLinks is an innovative browser wallet that combines privacy pools, stealth addresses, and cross-chain session isolation technology to provide users with a truly private Web3 browsing experience. This project is independently developed by Mmilien.

10. Hashlocked

Hashlocked enables trustless bi-directional atomic swaps between EVM and Bitcoin. This solution offers high security and low-cost advantages, and is driven by native scripting technology. The project is developed by Leven.

These ten projects are just a small highlight of the ETHGlobal Cannes Hackathon event. In just 36 hours, developers created a total of 334 impressive projects, showcasing the limitless potential and innovative vitality of blockchain technology.
