Kaito: Innovator in the integration of information in the encryption world, creating a tokenization ecosystem for attention.
Kaito: The Information Aggregator of the Encryption World
Introduction to Kaito
Kaito is a Web3 information platform dedicated to solving the problem of information fragmentation in the encryption world. It collects and organizes information from various data sources in real-time through an AI-driven search engine and information network. The platform utilizes large language models and semantic understanding technology to transform unstructured information into instant insights, including sentiment analysis, keyword tracking, narrative context mining, and other features.
Kaito has also launched the "Attention Tokenization" mechanism, quantifying the real influence of users in publishing content on social media platforms, incentivizing the community to create and share high-quality information, and promoting a fair and transparent information financial ecosystem. The project was founded in 2022 and completed two rounds of financing in 2023, raising a total of $10.8 million.
Kaito Connect and Yaps Points System
To incentivize community participation and reward valuable information contributions, Kaito has launched the Kaito Connect network and Yaps points system. The Yaps program is Kaito's core incentive mechanism, encouraging users to post high-quality content related to encryption on social platforms. The system uses AI to assess post quality, interaction depth, and content relevance, rewarding genuine high-quality contributions.
Participants can earn Yap Points, which can be used to participate in weekly reward distributions, gain eligibility for future airdrops, enhance leaderboard rankings, and unlock more ecosystem benefits.
Yapper Rankings and Launchpad
Kaito has built a content incentive and project selection mechanism through the Yapper leaderboard and Launchpad. Users can gain rankings by publishing high-quality encryption content, and the leaderboard includes an overall ranking, an AI-themed ranking, and dedicated rankings for various projects. Each specific encryption project also has its own project leaderboard, divided into two phases: before and after TGE.
The community can vote through Launchpad to decide on new projects to be listed. Holding Yap points or being a Smart Follower allows participation, with new projects selected for the leaderboard every week. Voting methods include Yapper voting and Holder voting. Through Launchpad, users can participate in project support while creating opportunities to compete for their Yap points.
Kaito Connect
Kaito Connect is an AI-based InfoFi information network that promotes information sharing and transparency. Any user can participate and share encryption-related information, thereby obtaining a corresponding share of value. All rewards are recorded on-chain and are publicly accessible, with a leaderboard mechanism ensuring transparent disclosure of sponsored content. The network includes four types of participants: creators, ordinary users, brands, and platforms, and strives to fairly distribute rewards among these four parties.
Acquisition Mechanism of Yaps
Yap Points Calculation Rules
Kaito's Yaps system is not solely based on traditional "likes" or "views", but rather emphasizes the quality of posts. The algorithm uses large language models to understand content in multiple languages, filter out spam, and reward insightful posts. It comprehensively considers the following factors:
How to earn Yaps points
The points are relatively dependent on the interaction signals from the Inner Circle (i.e., highly influential Crypto Twitter accounts), especially high-quality social behaviors such as comments and quotes, to reverse-validate content value and prevent fake accounts and ineffective interactions from inflating scores.
Method 1: Deep Interaction Strategy
Actively comment on tweets from high-influence Twitter accounts to express your opinions. You can increase the likelihood of a response by adding data or insights. Reply to tweets about popular projects in the current market to enhance the quality of interaction. Additionally, attracting the attention of high-influence accounts (smart follower) can also earn you corresponding Yap points.
Method 2: Write in-depth content
Focus on writing in-depth content for the weekly leaderboard projects (technical analysis, valuation models, airdrop strategies, etc.), and then send it to the project parties and Kaito to earn Yaps and potential project party rewards. Taking an account ranked in the top fifty of a certain project as an example: In the past thirty days, approximately 20 related tweets have been published, each with its own views and original graphics. Additionally, this month, more than 500 replies to related tweets have been made (most of which are meaningless content). Despite having only 9 smart followers and a follower count below 1000, it still managed to rank in the top fifty of the leaderboard.
Kaito voting mechanism
Kaito's voting mechanism revolves around the Yapper Launchpad, with the core principle being the allocation of influence through holding and participating behaviors. Voting is divided into Yapper voting (based on Yap points and the number of Smart Followers) and Holder voting (based on the sKAITO obtained from staking KAITO and Genesis NFTs). Holder voting accounts for 75%, while Yapper community votes account for 25%. The Genesis NFT acts as a "voting multiplier" to enhance the effectiveness of sKAITO voting, helping long-term holders achieve higher weight.
The voting power of sKAITO is calculated based on four dimensions: the number of holdings, holding time, continuous voting time, and system dynamic multiplier. The system encourages long-term locking and stable support through time-weighted and "holding scores". The voting influence of sKAITO will gradually accumulate over time and will not be immediately evident, while the Genesis NFT can enhance its final effect.
Popular Activities
INFINEX (Ranking First in Popularity)
INFINEX's activities are conducted in seasons, with a total prize pool of approximately $6 million equivalent in uPatrons. Season 0 rewards are about $600,000, and we are currently in Season 1, with rewards of approximately $900,000. Users participate in points competition through content creation and an invitation mechanism to earn uPatrons rewards. The points and reward amounts allocated each season gradually increase.
Participation methods include:
Huma Finance
Huma's activities are divided into three seasons, with a total prize pool of approximately 0.5% of the total supply of Huma, around 2.3 million dollars. Participants need to post in-depth and valuable high-quality Huma-related content on Twitter and reach the top 500 in the Huma Yapper rankings to share considerable HUMA token rewards. In addition, users of the Kaito ecosystem will share an additional 10 million HUMA tokens.
Newton
The total prize pool for Newton's activities is approximately 0.75% of the total supply of NEWT. Users can earn rewards through content creation, recommending agents, and interacting with the community, and a community milestone bonus mechanism and identity weighting have been introduced.
Participation methods include:
Community milestone bonus mechanism: When the total number of activated Agents in the community reaches a specific node, the community reward pool increases the proportion of tokens.
LOUD (ended)
The design inspiration for LOUD comes from the attention (Mindshare) concept proposed by Kaito. Its operating mechanism is to obtain attention value through users posting LOUD-related content on social media platforms. Based on this, the system generates a leaderboard, and the official allocates 72% of the token trading fee revenue to the top 25 users according to their rankings each week.
LOUD gained significant attention in a short period, which is related to its low initial financing threshold. The project raised approximately $70,000 and sold 45% of the tokens in two tranche packages. After going live, the price of LOUD once soared to a market value of about $36 million, bringing over a hundred times returns to early investors. However, due to the concentrated release of unlocked tokens in the early stages, coupled with a lack of sustained narrative support, the price subsequently experienced a sharp correction.
Summary
Kaito has built an innovative information ecosystem through Kaito Connect and the Yaps points system, allowing KOLs to amplify their influence and generate revenue. Project teams can also more accurately identify key creators, design interactive mechanisms, and achieve effective linkage between community content and project value. Although ordinary users also have opportunities to participate in earning points, the overall operational threshold is relatively high, requiring continuous time investment to manage accounts. Compared to past methods of participating in single project test nets or trading to obtain airdrops, the Kaito model presents higher costs and participation difficulties for retail investors, providing more incentives for long-term content creators.
