The first is the launch of the first asset of the RGB protocol, which has recently gone live on the mainnet.

The developer of the underlying infrastructure wallet for the RGB protocol, @BitlightLabs, has launched the minting activity for the first mainnet asset token "RGB."

A few days ago I shared that the current progress is 60%, and the official status is paused.

A total of 21 million $RGB, with a fixed minting of 50 pieces each time, so there are still 168,000 pieces left to be minted.

The cost for one piece is around 4 U, and the off-market transaction price is about 18 U, which is nearly 3 times the profit.

There is still not a complete Fomo, the development of the RGB protocol started in 2016 and has been ongoing for nearly 9 years.

This is an expansion solution based on Bitcoin, with the biggest highlight being that it allows the Bitcoin blockchain to support complex smart contracts without increasing the burden on the main chain.

At the same time, it enhances characteristics such as trading privacy, compatibility with the Lightning Network, and scalability.

The wallet developed by @Bitlight_wallet is the first tool to support the RGB protocol. Moreover, the project team is a board member of the RGB protocol standard-setting association INP/BP and a core contributor to the development of the RGB protocol, making it a leading project in the RGB protocol.

Risk point reminder: The RGB protocol may not gain traction, and this time the asset is explicitly stated by the official as a test coin for the RGB mainnet, with a large total supply, making the basic market value close to 1.7M. Everyone should DYOR.

3. Switch the wallet to the BTC mainnet -- select UTXOs -- then select Greate UTXO
Note:
- The default requires 0.0003 BTC, but it can be customized; the default is recommended.
- When creating, suggest giving Gas 1 Sats more than the default.

4. Visit the minting page and wait for minting to open.

Note:
- When starting to mint, the wallet confirmation page must manually input Gas.
- It is recommended to give a little more than the on-chain Gas, for example, if the on-chain is 3 Sats, we give 5 Sats to avoid getting stuck in the chain.
- You can only mint the next one after successfully completing the claim and after the project party has completed the distribution on-chain.

The above is the casting process of RGB, which is quite simple. However, the RGB protocol is currently not mature, and we are waiting for official optimization. This pause in maintenance is also for technical optimization.
