Latest Airdrop Event Overview
According to CryptoTotem’s latest update (July 29, 2025), Monad is conducting a Retrodrop airdrop campaign with two major task categories: NFT minting and testnet participation. While no official end date has been set, NFT supplies are limited, so early participation is strongly encouraged.
Airdrop Task 1: NFT Minting
Mint a new NFT:
- NFTs can be minted for as little as 0.8–2.5 $MON.
- 25,555 limited edition NFTs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
How to participate:
- Connect your Ethereum wallet that’s compatible with Monad Testnet.
- On the NFT minting page, sign the transaction and use a small amount of test tokens.
Purpose: Activate your wallet and increase on-chain interactions. This may enhance your airdrop eligibility.
Airdrop Task 2: Testnet Participation
Take part in essential testnet activities:
- Complete 16 distinct tasks, including Break Monad V2, the 2048 Game, and the Feedback Form.
- The system automatically tracks your points and status as you complete each task.
Types of tasks:
- Technical: Submit smart contract calls, execute transactions, and confirm receipts.
- Social: Join the official Discord, retweet specific posts on X (Twitter), and tag three friends.
Important notes:
- Keep screenshots of your progress to prevent data loss due to network issues.
- Most testnet tasks do not have a set deadline, allowing for flexible completion.
How to Maximize Airdrop Eligibility
- Users should follow the official X (Twitter) account for timely alerts about additional tasks.
- Engage in the community: Participate in AMAs and technical discussions on Discord—some airdrops may give preference to active members.
- Use multiple wallets strategically: You may use several addresses to complete tasks in batches, increasing your overall odds, but take care not to trigger anti-sybil mechanisms or appear to be manipulating the system.
Risk Notice and FAQs
- No guarantee of rewards: CryptoTotem explicitly states, “completing tasks does not guarantee rewards.” Participate only according to your risk tolerance.
- Testnet fee considerations: Some actions require testnet tokens for gas; secure enough test tokens from official faucets beforehand.
- Security and compliance: Always access task links via official sources to protect against phishing scams.
