Jinse Finance reported that Lightscale, a subsidiary of WeMade, announced the launch of the Ethereum (ETH) Layer 2 Chroma mainnet. Chroma is an Ethereum layer 2 blockchain that uses technology that combines zero-knowledge proofs with Optimistic. Zero-knowledge roll-up is technically difficult, but the block confirmation speed is faster than Optimistic, so Chroma plans to upgrade to 100% zero-knowledge roll-up in the future. Chroma will release its native token KRO (KRO) in the middle of next year without pre-launch or mining.
